King of Hearts - Economy - Democrat Deck

King of Hearts - Economy
King of Hearts - Economy

This card features a stock market like bull with a shot of something going into it and a drain of something coming out. What comments do you think should be at the bottom of this card? What does our economy need? What ’shot in the arm’ will fix our economy? Is there really on ’shot’ that can fix our economy? What does our economy need to maintain steady growth?

More About Politically WILD! Playing Cards

We are excited to introduce 2 new political decks of playing cards for the 2008 Presidential Election.  The image you are looking at here is for the Democrat Playing Cards.  This is your chance to get involved in a unique deck of "interactive" playing cards that have a little fun with all of the WILD! stuff that goes on during each election cycle.  The deck is "interactive" because the comments in each limited edition come from YOU…the general public!

With the 2008 Election fast approaching, an ongoing war in Iraq, illegal immigration and many other issues are on the minds of Americans.  What lies in their hearts?  Americans are ready for their voice to be heard and what better way for them to express these ideas than through fun deck of playing cards.  Odds are the politicians still won't listen, but we can at least feel like we made an effort.  The BEST way to make your voice heard is to GET OUT AND VOTE every November!

Some of the images consists of politicians and "political celebrities" with their face on the body of an animal while the court cards deal with specific issues which are hot political topics right now.  There is a deck specifically for the Democrats and another one for the Republicans. So come on America, this is your chance to be heard. Who knows, your comments may be used in the next edition.

HOW TO GET YOUR COMMENTS PUT INTO THE NEXT DECK?

Just click on the word "PERMALINK" or "COMMENTS" below and you can tell us what you think the comments should say on this particular "Politically Wild" card.  Once you place your comment you’ll have to check each edition to see if your comments are used in one of the limited edition decks of cards.

Please remember that these are playing cards so we have a limited amount of space.   We ask if you could keep your comments to 75 characters or less.

LIGHTHEARTED CLAUSE:  For those with the inability to lighten up and enjoy life, you may not enjoy the parody in artwork like this.  Please understand that while some images may appear to be in a negative light, it requires creativity to spin some of them in a positive one.  As we all know, everything is in the eyes of the beholder.  So while one image may seem like a slam (or in support) of a particular issue or political figure, the image can really go both ways…positive and/or negative.  The question is can you see the positive?  Can you see the negative?  Either way, please understand that these cards are just for the fun of it and you may need to LIGHTEN UP! Please Note: By posting a comment here you agree to the following rules. 1) By posting you agree that any and all comments may be used in the publication of a deck of cards. You will have to check each edition to see if your comments were used. 2) All comments must be clean AND family friendly or they will NOT be posted. 3) Hackers and attackers will be blocked. 4) All images are copyright Newt’s Playing Cards ( www.newtscards.com ) 5) If you are using IE6 you may run into a problem with the comment box as it does not show all of your comments. We suggest using IE7. ******************************* For wholesale information please contact us at our wholesale playing card site.

We need government intervention! We've had enough of the money hungry companies ripping off everyday people. A good example of big companies robbing people is shown by what we are paying at the gas pump!!

take from the rich and give to the poor. In other words, tax the wealthy more and lower the taxes on the poor.

WE need a give tax breaks to working families and not just to the wealthy. While wages remain flat, the costs of basic necessities are increasing. At the same time, this administration has refused to tackle health care, education and housing in a manner that benefits the middle class.

We need our jobs to STOP going to Mexico. NAFTA is sucking our economy and job market dry.

To survive, our economy needs lower taxes, Reaganomics. More money is put into the government coffers by spending than taxation. 18 cents a gallon for gas goes into the FED. I, for one, use a lot of petrol, so I'm spending more for taxes than most. The problem with gas prices is that oil is on the commodities market. It's on the DOW, so futures investors can drive the price up. Oil, or any natural resource, should not be traded on the market, it should be negotiated like any other real product.

Gilroy, how, pray tell, would government intervention help us? The more intervention we have by the government, the higher our taxes go. If we have to add more programs to the U.S. budget, how do you suggest we pay for it? We are already being taxed HARD. I would suggest that less intervention would give us some breathing room. As for taxing the rich, they are the ones that create new jobs. If they are over taxed, then there are no new jobs to be had. If my state would leave industry alone, we wouldn't be losing jobs to other countries.

“Every dollar the Federal Government does not take from us, every decision it does not make for us will make our economy stronger, our lives more abundant, our future more free.” Ronald Reagan

I agree with Ronald Reagan! If the government would let me keep more of my money the economy would do better. The thing the liberals want to do is take more of my money so they can give it back to people who haven't even paid taxes in the form of a "rebate". Wealth redistribution!

Politically WILD! Playing Cards are our way to make light of the political craze that happens in the US. In no way are our intentions to be mean or sour towards any candidate, political figure or political celebrity. These decks are just a fun way to let out a little political frustration!
