More About Politically WILD! Playing Cards

We are excited to introduce 2 new political decks of playing cards for the 2008 Presidential Election.  The image you are looking at here is for the Democrat Playing Cards.  This is your chance to get involved in a unique deck of "interactive" playing cards that have a little fun with all of the WILD! stuff that goes on during each election cycle.  The deck is "interactive" because the comments in each limited edition come from YOU…the general public!

With the 2008 Election fast approaching, an ongoing war in Iraq, illegal immigration and many other issues are on the minds of Americans.  What lies in their hearts?  Americans are ready for their voice to be heard and what better way for them to express these ideas than through fun deck of playing cards.  Odds are the politicians still won't listen, but we can at least feel like we made an effort.  The BEST way to make your voice heard is to GET OUT AND VOTE every November!

Some of the images consists of politicians and "political celebrities" with their face on the body of an animal while the court cards deal with specific issues which are hot political topics right now.  There is a deck specifically for the Democrats and another one for the Republicans. So come on America, this is your chance to be heard. Who knows, your comments may be used in the next edition.

HOW TO GET YOUR COMMENTS PUT INTO THE NEXT DECK?

Just click on the word "PERMALINK" or "COMMENTS" below and you can tell us what you think the comments should say on this particular "Politically Wild" card.  Once you place your comment you’ll have to check each edition to see if your comments are used in one of the limited edition decks of cards.

Please remember that these are playing cards so we have a limited amount of space.   We ask if you could keep your comments to 75 characters or less.

LIGHTHEARTED CLAUSE:  For those with the inability to lighten up and enjoy life, you may not enjoy the parody in artwork like this.  Please understand that while some images may appear to be in a negative light, it requires creativity to spin some of them in a positive one.  As we all know, everything is in the eyes of the beholder.  So while one image may seem like a slam (or in support) of a particular issue or political figure, the image can really go both ways…positive and/or negative.  The question is can you see the positive?  Can you see the negative?  Either way, please understand that these cards are just for the fun of it and you may need to LIGHTEN UP! Please Note: By posting a comment here you agree to the following rules. 1) By posting you agree that any and all comments may be used in the publication of a deck of cards. You will have to check each edition to see if your comments were used. 2) All comments must be clean AND family friendly or they will NOT be posted. 3) Hackers and attackers will be blocked. 4) All images are copyright Newt’s Playing Cards ( www.newtscards.com ) 5) If you are using IE6 you may run into a problem with the comment box as it does not show all of your comments. We suggest using IE7. ******************************* For wholesale information please contact us at our wholesale playing card site.

Yes, it is a free country and they should be able to choose who they want.

gay and lesbian partners should have the same legal and financial rights as any other couple!

Same sexes cannot breed in nature. If it were a genetic anomoly, then it would have been bread out of the gene pool. It has to be a life style, ergo,, a choice and not something that qualifies for protection under the equal opportunity act. Birds of the same feather DO flock together, they just don't lay AND furtilize the eggs.

No government has the right to tell its citizens when or whom to love. The only queer people are those who don't love anybody. ~Rita Mae Brown, speech, 28 August 1982

Even God gave us free will, but your not going to heaven if you choose to sleep with the same sex.

Ducks only know about "life partners". Marriage has little to do with a piece of paper, and everything to do with what's in a person's heart. Why should someone be denied the ability to consecrate their union in marriage just because someone else thinks it's wrong? Marry for love. ALL love!

Hey Chris, I'm sure only saints like yourself will make it into heaven. If I recall, we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. Getting into heaven is something that God grants by belief in his son, not based on how good a person is. With that being said, homosexuality is still a sin just like adultry, steeling, lying and others.

Carmy, true ture there is only one unforgiveable sin and that is to denie Christ, but if you know your committing sin by sleeping with the same sex, how on earth could you keep doing it? Apparently ones faith isn't as good as one believes. I am not judging, that isn't my place to do so.

The bible also states that it's a sin to have tattoos, wear certain jewelry, wear blended textiles (cotton-polyester blends), cross breed livestock, cutting your hair or shaving your beard, sowing a field with mixed seeds, and eating the dead flesh of pigs, rabbits, and some seafood... if anyone claims that they have never worn or done any of these things, they are lying (pretty sure that's a sin as well)

I'd rather have two people who love each other and are willing to work on their relationship get married then two people who are going to quit at the first sign of emotional struggle... then maybe the divorce rate wouldn't be so darn high

No one is without sin, that is true, but look to the new testament to what is mentioned about revelers, those who revel in their sin, enjoy it, embrace it. Homosexuality is a life style choice. If someone claims to be christian, and still proceeds with that kind of LIFE STYLE CHOICE,, I see a problem there. According to the scriptures, what the church holds true on earth, He will hold true in heaven. The Church denounces homosecuality, thus, so too should we.

Tay,

"Life Partners" sounds to me like a civil union. A marriage is something performed in a church, sworn before God, that you are dedicated to that person. The terms married, marriage, and marry originate in the scriptures. Before that, there were only civil unions (yes, look it up, study your history kids,,,) How can people be hypocritical enough to perform a homosexual marriage, in a church, regardless of what the "Supreme Court" of California says.

not everyone in this country is a Christian, there are many different religions and/or lack of. Are you saying that they shouldn't get married either? There is a reason for seperation of church and state...

Bobby, you are correct, not everyone in this country is a Christian. Likewise they have a right to make whoopie with who they want. The point is, just because they like to make whoopie with someone of the same gender or even a some animal, that doesn't mean they should have a marriage license! Shoot, those men out west are trying to marry those 14 year old girls and that is illegal! Why, because it is WRONG. I know we live in a society that doesn't want to say when something is right or wrong, but yes, sometimes things are either right or wrong.

Gays pay taxes, they can vote, and they can join our military forces. They are a part of our country, they are not going away. Marriage is not just a Christian thing, there are many different cultures that enjoy the ceremony of marriage. If they can die for their country shouldn't they be able to get married in it as well?

Sarah,

They may be able to do those things, but if they are going to a church or swaring to Christ, like most ceremonies are preformed, then they are commiting a sin in Gods eye.

so if a gay is on the witness stand and puts his/her hand on the bible and swears to thell the whole truth... is that sinning because they are gay and pledging something to God?? God is supposed to love everyone, regardless of their "lifestyle" choice. If you have a problem with gays getting married in the house of your Lord then protest against gays getting married in churches... not against there union all together.

There are religions and parts of the world where it is perfectly exceptable to have multiple wives... does your dog pay taxes, fight in wars? contribute anything towards society? if it does, more power to you, marry your dog... maybe you'll create a new species... sicko
